The World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) Mauritius 2026 season officially teed off with an exceptional opening qualifier held at Tamarina Golf Club. Overall Winner

The spotlight of the tournament belonged to Anthony Koon, who delivered a remarkable performance with a winning score of 42 points to claim the Overall Winner title. His consistency and composure throughout the round secured him a dominant position at the top of the leaderboard. Division Winners












Each division saw intense competition and closely contested scores, reinforcing the depth of talent across all categories. In Division 1, Nicolas Gaud and Hugo De Senneville both finished with 37 points, sharing top honours in a tightly matched battle.
Division 2 saw standout performances from Nicolas Andrianasolo, who led with 38 points, followed by Yannick Kanwah and Kirk Varaden, who also delivered strong finishes. In Division 3, Gaspard Verkamer and François van Derton both posted 38 points, while Franck Mezerette rounded out the podium with 36 points.
Division 4 and 5 also delivered exciting results, with Anthony Koon extending his dominance in Division 4 and Mohammad Zaid Sakauloo topping Division 5 with an impressive 41 points.
