The WAGC Mauritius Qualifier Series continues its journey across the island, bringing competitive amateur golf to some of the country’s most prestigious courses. The upcoming WAGC Legend Qualifier, originally scheduled for 26 June 2026, has now been rescheduled to 25 July 2026, giving players an opportunity to compete for a place in the national final.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Legend Golf Course, this qualifier promises another exciting chapter in the road to the WAGC Mauritius National Final 2026.
A Premier Amateur Golf Competition
Golfers from across Mauritius will gather for an 18-hole Individual Medal tournament, played under the official R&A Rules of Golf and within the established WAGC handicap divisions. The format ensures a fair and competitive environment where players are tested on skill, consistency, and composure.
This event is part of the official qualification pathway leading to the WAGC Mauritius National Final, where the country’s top amateur golfers will compete for the honour of representing Mauritius on the international stage.
Road to the National Final
The stakes remain high at every qualifier. Players will be competing not only for individual glory but also for qualification spots into the WAGC Mauritius National Final, scheduled for 11 October 2026 at Avalon Golf Club.
From there, the best performers will move closer to the ultimate goal — representing Mauritius at the World Amateur Golfers Championship 2026 in Desaru, Malaysia.
