A Memorable Chapter in the WAGC Mauritius 2026 Journey

The WAGC Mauritius Qualifier Series continued its successful 2026 season with the highly anticipated Legend Qualifier, held on Saturday, 25 July 2026 at the prestigious Constance Belle Mare Plage Legend Golf Course.

Set within one of Mauritius’ most iconic golf destinations, the event brought together passionate amateur golfers from across the island for a day of competitive championship golf, exceptional sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments.

As part of the official WAGC Mauritius pathway, the Legend Qualifier gave players another opportunity to compete for qualification towards the WAGC Mauritius National Final and take another step closer to representing Mauritius on the international stage.

Challenging Conditions at the Legendary Legend Golf Course

Known for its championship layout, strategic challenges, and stunning tropical surroundings, the Legend Golf Course provided the perfect setting for a high-level amateur golf competition.

Players competed in the official WAGC Individual Medal format, where consistency, precision, and smart course management were key factors throughout the 18-hole challenge.

Every round brought excitement and intensity as golfers battled across their respective handicap divisions, showcasing the growing depth of amateur golf talent in Mauritius.

Dominique Ng Poon Hing Overall Winner

OVERALL WINNER DOMINIQUE NG

The highlight of the day belonged to Dominique Ng Poon Hing, who delivered an outstanding performance to secure the title of WAGC Legend Qualifier 2026 Overall Winner with an impressive 64 points.

His remarkable score reflected consistency, confidence, and excellent execution throughout the competition, earning him a well-deserved place among the standout performers of the 2026 WAGC Mauritius Qualifier Series.

The victory marks another important achievement on the Road to Desaru, as players continue their pursuit of qualification for the WAGC Mauritius National Final.
